So any one think glock would go for making a pistol styled after the 1911,  I think that would make a great pistol.

Never happen, they have committed to the 45 gap which uses their existing frames so I don't even see a single stack 45 acp. They would certainly never make a single action pistol, that would be kind of like Harley making a 4 cylinder sportbike that looked like a Honda Hurricane.

Not even Gaston Glock can make a 1911 reliable.
Why fix other people's problem while you already made a working gun?

Okay. I don't see them producing a single-stack .45 that actually fits something larger than an 8 year old girl's hand.

Better?

What about the CCF all metal frame for Glocks?  It is a mix of 1911 grip angle and a Glock.

I'm 6'4" and 190 lbs and have pretty large hands.  I've had no problems with the GLOCK 36 after putting a grip extender on it.  Might work for you as well.  Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the replys guys.  I have a springfield operator, and i love it.  It shoots a whole lot better than my glock. But my dept. won't let me carry anything else. 1911's just seem to have one of the best feels to me for a handgun.

If the grip angle is the problem for you, there are a couple of people who modify the backstrap by grinding it down and refinishing.  Robar and Arizona Response Systems are two  I can think of offhand.

Well I am not to sure it is the angel, it may be though.  I have pretty big hands  I am 604, and 235lbs.  The 1911 just seems to feel much better to me and responds better for me.
