I own a Glock 35 P/T and love it.  I like the looks and it shoots great.  I also carry a Glock 21 for my duty gun and I acutally like the wide grip better.  The only thing better that I could think of would be a P/T version of the Glock 21.

Since the Glock 34/35 is a very popular model, why hasn't Glock made a P/T version of the Glock 21 in .45 ACP.  I am not a fan of the .45 GAP, but why not a P/T version in that caliber as well?  Am I missing something here?

Please post some comments as to why this hasn't happened yet.

Does anyone else want a P/T .45ACP?

Gaston Glock hates you specifically, so he won't make one just because you like it.

Seriously, I would love to see one of those.  But I'd prefer one in 10mm

I would buy a 10mm in a P/T version if they ever made one.  Seriously, what is the deal here?

Also, what is the deal with their website too!  They haven't updated Glock.com since something like four years ago.

If they win the military contract you might just see one.

Single stack magazine would be a nice added feature.

+1, with a narrower grip and maybe a little shorter slide, this would be a winner

merely to piss off the 1911 worshipers

oh and to actually have a reliable full size single stack .45acp other than the SIG 220

I just talked with a Glock rep and he said to the best of his knowledge Glock is working on a defense contract that involves a single stack full size .45.  We might see something sooner than later.

It's not GLOCK OEM but Lone Wolf does make a P/T upper half for the G20/21. It's a 6" slide and comes with adjustable sights. You'll still need to buy the barrel and recoil spring. Price is $550.

Part #
LWD-SLIDE20 for the G20/10mm
LWD-SLIDE21 for the G21.45ACP

Here is a pic of one I did using the Lonewolf slide (Model 21).  You can then use 6 inch a 45 barrel/mags, or a KKM 10mm conversion barrel/mags to shoot either 45 or 10mm.

There is a lot of info on this conversion over at Glocktalk.

There is a guy over at Glocktalk that posted such pics of a home brewed P/T .45, pretty cool looking too.

I am still waiting for my P/T .45acp head.gif

And what is the deal with their website?  It sucks so bad.  They dont even have the GAP pistols mentioned. For having that GAP "breakthrough" technology, wouldnt they want to promote it on the web.  You know, that "do dad" that on the computer that millions visit each day.

I think they need to get with the times if they want to stay on top.  The XD is coming on strong.

What website are you talking about? Don't go to www.glock.com because that is the GLOCK, Austria site. Instead go to www.teamglock.com because that is the GLOCK, USA site. Go there and ignore the other one.

Wanted a .45acp or 10mm with a 5.34" barrel for a long time. Wish Glock would wake up and release them.

A 5" single stack .45? Why bother? If I wanted that I'd get a 1911. Glock is nice because you get 10/12 rounds is a nice large fitting package. Sure people with smaller hands have trouble, but oh well. If the gun doesn't fit you move on to the one that does right?

Funny, I just talked to my GLOCK rep. last week and they said there is no plan for a single stack 45.  One of them also said that Mr. Glock has so much money that he does not feel presured into doing anything other then what he wants...  Strange what different reps will say.

I asked about the Carbine and was told it should be in 223 and out next Shot Show

Seriously, I would love to see one of those.  But I'd prefer one in 10mmBut something that would push my happy button even harder would be a 9x23mm with 20 round mags. Nothing would boost Glock's image more than magazine ads featuring a top shooter with a Glock racegun. Glock has had the home defense, cop, market cornered for years. It's time to grab another slice of the market.

Ive thought for years that all Glock would have to do is modify the G36...longer slide with 5" barrel and full length grip with single stack 8 rnd capacity.  Then they would have one of the thinnest, most reliable and durable full length .45s on the market...I would buy at least 2...

To be fair he shoots production, Limited 10, or Limited though.
