Has anyone ever chronograghed the speed of a 115 grain and 124 grain bullets out of a 34? How much faster are they than a 4" barreled G19? I fondled a G34 today and really liked the way it handled.

I remember reading someplace that the difference was about 65 fps, but the bullet weight wasn't specified.  If you like the way a G19 shoots, I think you'll like the G34 even more.

Thanks, I will seriously consider the 34 for my next purchase.

About a year ago I was shooting a G34 for IDPA. A shooter had a chrono set after a match. My velocity with 115gr. WWB from Wally World was back and forth between 1175 and 1225 fps.

The G17 my son was shooting was about 50 fps lower with the same kind of spead.

I now shoot a G35. You just about can't beat the way they handle.
