Anyone have a good source at a good price?

Also, should I stay away from Scherer and stick with Pearce?  I know that Scherer mags aren't up to par for the most part and am thinking their grip/magazine extensions might be crap also.  Anyone have experience with Scherer? Pearce?  Thanks in advance.

I have some Pearce extensions on 3 of my G26 mags, and one scherer extension on my 4th G26 mag. No problems with the scherer extension, works fine.
But as far as scherer magazines for my Glock? I had four of them I sent back, obviously replaced with factory Glock mags. I will only use "perfection" with "perfection" from now on!  I don't have a good source on the net. The scherer I bought before was at sportsmansguide.com, but they don't have a good selection of Glock mags. I have several bookmarked websites , but haven't bought from any.  I've been buying from local gun store and gun show.

Morpheus411,

Thanks for sharing.  Guess I will give the Scherer mag extensions a try if I come across some.  I won't touch a Scherer mag with a 10 foot pole either.  Have to be factory mags for my G30.

I would stay away from all mag extensions for increased round capacity.  The grip extensions from Pearce seem to work fine for some of the sub-compacts.  Generally the +1 or +2 mag extensions will increase your malfunctions and not much else.  If you want more rounds, get another Glock.

I'm more concerned with the extra grip space than an extra round or two.  If I need more rounds, I'll just carry an extra mag or two.

The +2 extensions fit the G20/21 mags but if put onto a G30 mag, you will not increase grip surface but have a gap in between the grip and the extension.

Look at the mag bottom of the G30 and you'll notice that it is much thicker than the floor plates of other Glocks.

Thanks.  Didn't know that.

I use the Pearce grips exclusivley.   I had a G30 that I used a Pearce as well, and I never had a pinch or anything.
