I heard the same thing from a dealer back in January.  He said the sales on OD Green frames were much slower than Glock expected and production would shortly stop.  In fact at the time I talked with this dealer, who is one of if not the biggest gun dealer in Kansas City, they had no OD Green glocks in the cases at all.  Naturally I panicked and pushed up the purchase of an OD Green 34 instead of an Aimpoint and mount which I don't regret BTW.  Anyway, I called a good buddy of mine that really has his ear to the ground on just about every gun issue you can think of and asked him to check up on Glock stopping production of OD Green frames.  After a couple of weeks went by, he called me and said nobody had heard a thing about it at his level (he is LEO and the people he talked to move lots of glocks, their word counts IMO.)

Rest easy man.  OD Green is not going away for at least a few more months.

why would it go away???Does it cost more to make? Why not just make "less" instead of stopping the production.

I almost bought a OD G26 but once you go black you never go back.

It was selling so badly that they pulled a bunch of them off the shelves and painted them with that carbon fiber looking stuff.

I hope not, I haven't bought one (or four) yet!

I can't say if GLOCK will stop production of them but I do know they move slower than the standard black ones. My local show won't even stock them because they move so slow.

All of mine are OD green.  I hope these are just rumors.  If not, I will have to max my credit card(s).

The carbon fiber paint job was by a third party vendor. Glock had nothing to do with it.
