Got a chance to handle them at SHOT '06 last month. Not real sure if I would buy one when they are available in Aug but you never know.

The color is off just a little(cheap camera). They had several other colors and the back-strap is interchangle from the 1911 style to a Glock type grip.

Wow, thats certainly interesting. The grip angle is the only concern I have for owning more
Glocks.  That changes the picture a bunch although I would prefer that grip angle in a
ploymer frame more.

I also played with one at SHOT.  I don't believe they are available yet but I will get one when they are.  Don't need one but want one anyway.

I'm interested in checking them out once they're available. I'm not sure I'll buy one but I just might...for the hell of it!

No, GLOCK has nothing to do with the alloy frame. It is an aftermarket product.

Thanks, it did seem contradictory to everything Glock had ever done so I was very .  Does it count as a whole gun/is it serial numbered?

Yes it has a serial number so it is considered a firearm and must be transferred through an FFL.

Might as well add a beavertail, Cominolli manual safety, and front cocking serrations.

I actually like the fact that these do not have the friggin' finger grooves!  I will buy one to see how I like it for compettition.  I wouldn't even consider it for a carry gun.  Just my 2 cents.

same here. 1911 and glock don't mix.

I like mine just like how it got out of the factory. all GLOCK, not some hybrid.
