Who owns the oldest GLOCK?

I am currently tracking down my "AA" G17 that I sold in 1990.
It was built 10/1986.

If I find it I will try and buy it back.

While nowhere near the oldest... I have a early GLOCK 19. The GLOCK 19 was made starting in 1988 and for the first two months, they were made from a cut down 1st Gen. G17 frame. These "1st Gen." G19s are very rare and demand a premium from collectors. My G19 was made the first month GLOCK manufactured the G19 they on it's own frame.

Believe it or not, the AA's are not the oldest Glocks in the US.  There was some kind of mixup or issue when they sent the guns over here and the AA's arrived after the AB's and maybe some others.  I can't remember where I read that, but I will try to find it and post it.

Or it may have even been the B series made it here first.  Not the AB's but the BA's.

I haven't verified the serial number but my neighbor (retired LEO) showed me his G17 that he says was issued to him in 1987. It is a Gen I and pretty well worn but he still shoots it every week.

Yeah, very cool. I will buy a 1st Gen. G17 if I ever find one in really good condition.

I have a G-19 with an AX prefix, it is a second generation. Is this an early second gen?

I gave my 1st Gen Glock 17 to my girlfriend when I "upgraded" to a 3rd Gen Glock 17 so I could have the accessory rail.  I don't care about the finger grooves, though, I like the older grip better.  My girlfriend is happy with what she has done to the older (AB-prefix serial number) Glock 17:

Mines an "AT" but there's atleast one other guy I know of that had one that turned 20 last month (Feb), so his is older than mine.

I almost purchased a 1st Gen from a friend.  I own a 3rd Gen, but luckily with the older dull finish.
