| Hello again, well I think that I have narrowed it down to the Glock 23 or Glock 30. The only thing that I am having trouble decideing on is the fact that this will be a carry gun and I am not sure if the Glock 23 is to big for the job. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a 23 and 30 so that I can see the difference in size. Now as far as range what is a good range for these guns. What are your opinions about 40 vs. 45acp? I have just one more question where is a cheap place to buy a new glock, are there any good online retailers I have only scene galleryofguns.com |

Topglock.com or any of several other Glock web-sites have pictures, ya simply have to go look. The G23 (40S&W) is similar in size to the G19 (mid-sized Glock) whereas the G30 is a compact Glock. Most pistols are only as good as the hand holding it, as to range for your two choices most folks won't shoot them much past 50 yards accurately. Buy your Glock at the local gunshow, you'll save some bucks. Mike |

I just bought a G23 to carry of duty. I have no problem carring it and it being comfortable, i carry it in an inside the pant holster and no one can tell and I can bearly tell its there. Plus with the .40 cal you have all the stoping power you need if you have to draw down and put them down quickly. -When you are lost there is always a way out.- |
| You should have no problem carrying a G23. Two of my three carry pistols are full size, one being a G22, the other an FN Five Seven. My third carry piece is an H&K USP40c. I carry each one OWB, and have no problems concealing any of them. For the Five Seven, I just wear a shirt that is a little looser, as it's grip is quite large. |
| I have a G19, G23, and a G26. The 26 is good for putting in my ankle holster and going out on the town with out having to worry about my gun showing. I carry my 23 in a sholder holster, and also on my side in a paddle holster. In the end it is totaly up to the user as to which one will fit their needs. |
