Well it maybe time to find an alternative for my 1911 for a carry gun.  I would like a cartridge with good power and believe a G32C can offer what I am looking for in power.  I know their reliability (I used to be an armorer for Glocks).  My point of contention is the grip fit angle.  I love 1911s, like Sigs, and can shoot Glocks just fine.

Can any body provide information (and pics) on modifications to the grip which may make the Glock feel more appealing.  I have seen some pics, but don't care for the beaver tail I recall seeing.

I appreciate your time and help.

Thank you,

Mike

This one has the hump removed. You can have them done in any color at Lone Wolf

This one is done at a local shop($150) and the grip texture is VERY aggressive(sorry for the poor pic). (208) 773-2331

Nice pics.  I would hate to say it, but there is no other way.  How does the modification change the grip angle.  Is it close to the 1911 or Sig?  I like the weight of the Glocks, but not the angle.  Does anybody know if somebody in the VT or NH area has tried this modification so I can check it out first hand?  I appreciate the input so far.

Thanks

Mike
