It should, but we don't know yet, it would be good if it does but our priority is on Leupold DPP, we'll find out once we have first articles to test. Originally Posted By EzGoingKev: @duffy - do you know if your OPF-G6 plate for the DPP will fit the Sig Romeo X Enclosed Pro? |
![]() OPF-G6, RMR (Glock Gen 6 ORS compatible RMR, RMR HD, RCR and SRO) plate) At only up t 48 a day, they aren't easy, nor fast to make. 17-4 SS and more stringent quality standards get the kind of results you see above. |

I can’t stand it to think my life is going so fast and I’m not really living it.

No more 2x4 feeling in the hand 17.6 is next once I get a plate and optic for the 45. |

Just got one I really like it the grip feels very different….in a good way Attached File Attached File |

Danger Close Armament plates arrived today. EPS mounted up like a champ. Nice and snug. Finally done with my new 19Attached File Attached File |
| Does anyone have an opinion on the Calculated Kinetics gen 6 plate? I installed one for an EPS. Although visually the plate fills in the gaps fore and aft it doesn’t actually make contact with the optic. Is this normal for the type? Also, this plate is thicker raising the optic height. |

I just ordered one to mount a Vortex Defender Enclosed CCW. It says mid April shipping for the 2nd batch, so I'll keep playing around with the stock plastic sights for now. |

0.315 was the lowest usable with MOS before with RMR but not RMR HD, SRO and RCR, but now 0.315" front sight height can work with the taller RMR, RMR HD and SRO. Ameriglo sights as low as 3L to 5L can work with RMR, we tested 3L, with 4L and 5L to test. 3L provides very low co-witnessing, I like it to be taller and more usable, our recommendation will be 3L or above. |
|
Duffy, Thank you for the information ahead of time. This is helpful. Navigating Ameriglo's iron sight page is overwhelming. For those to reference: (Black Front and Rear) SKU front sight height 2XL, GL-470 0.350 4XL, GL-524 0.385 5XL, GL-507 0.407 6L, .GL-458 0.330 6XL, GL-526 0.434 7XL, GL-527 0.450 XL, GL-429 0.315 3XL, GL-506 0.365 |
|
Our Gen 6 compatibility chart will be posted on our site once we have the 4L and 5L sights installed and tested. DPP can also user lower sight heights. ACRO will now require taller height sights, 0.350 and above, these sights have already been approved by many agencies and in use for Gen 5 MOS RMR HD, SRO and RCR. |

Finally got our first, albeit very small batch of OPF-G6, RMR plates, all earmarked for dealer backorders, we won't be able to catch up for a few more weeks. Attached File |

We incorporate date codes to better track and enforce QC. The shape of the plate closely follows the hourglass/spindle shaped ORS cutout. Attached File I do want to point out what was already disclosed, due to Gen 6 ORS slide tolerances, a very small gap between the rear fence and the slide may be present. Both the front and rear fences of OPF-G6, RMR are cosmetic with our RMR plate design, so is the tiny gap that from 2024 forward, our RMR plate's fences are cosmetic only, a gap between the sight and rear fence could exist. Depending on the RDS, there may be a gap between the RMR, RMR HD, SRO and RCR and the rear fence, this too, is cosmetic. If we don't factor in sight tolerances, the plate would require fitting for many of the sights, or the sight simply will not fit. The picture below shows an RMR (with a gap), and RMR HD (without a gap) on the same OPF-G6, RMR plate. If we made the plate for that specific RMR only, chances are 100% it will require extensive fitting to fit another RMR, or RMR HD and RCR. For law enforcement agencies with tens, hundreds or thousands of sights and our plates, when one sight is too tight (within tolerance), the armorer can simply grab another sight that fits the same plate better. Officers and civilian users that purchase their own equipment may not have the luxury. We can't forfeit compatibility for the sake of cosmetics that serve no purpose on a defense firearm. Below picture illustrates the reason we can't close the gap. On the left is an RMR. On the right is and RMR HD. A new out of the box RMR closes the rear gap, while another one doesn't. 6-32 x 1/2 is what we include. I believe Trijicon incudes both 3/8 and 1/2 with the sights. 3/8 is for Gen 5 MOS, use the longer 1/2 for Gen 6 ORS. The second batch is slightly bigger than the first (only 200 in the first), other dealers will get theirs early next week, Revival is 2.5 miles from us so they got them first (local pick up), Primary Arms, Ben Stoeger Pro Shop, etc. will get the ones from the first batch as well. |

Thanks. Didn’t realize screws were included. I’ll use the ones you send with the plate. |
|
Trijicon uses good screws, they too, don't mess around with the quality (or anything else for that matter) of the screws. We do use T15 Torx whereas Trijicon uses T10 though. Our screws are made by Stanley in ID, USA, without thread locker. Instead, we ship our plates with a pillow pack of VC-3, users are free to use it, or thread locker of their choosing. We've routinely tested them to destruction, more than 3x the recommended torque value, without stripping. This is to ensure if the user either chooses to, or inadvertently over torques. The longer RMR mounting screws that can be used with ORS may be helpful to some plates, it has nothing to do with thread engagement. A properly designed and toleranced RMR plate doesn't transfer impact from the sight to the screws, the longer screws are nice but not necessary, but the longer screws can be helpful for plates that don't help the sight stay immobile in recoil and do allow impact to transfer to the screws, by distributing the impact over the longer screw body inside the slide. We've never found longer screws necessary or helpful with our MOS RMR plates, but longer screws have been a positive change for RMRcc plates if they're thick enough to accommodate them. |

Picked up a 17 COA a few days ago. Love it Attached File |

I've had that one for a while and I knew I wanted FCD for Gen 6. I loaded lots of ammo while waiting and we finally have good weather so I can start practicing with my Gen 6 as soon as I get my mount. Sadly this will probably be my last Glock for a while since CT is sure to pass the proposed ban on pistols with cruciform trigger bars. CT pretends that banning and restricting firearms while leaving the criminals alone is common sense safety. |

I too installed my FCD plate over the weekend. First time buying from Revival Defense too and it was a pleasant experience and I would buy from again. Had no issues installing the FCD plate with the RMR HD. I also went with Ameriglo GL-470 sights (.350 Front/.429 Rear) and the height is right where I would like a pair of BUIS to sit (more or less the bottom face of the notch in the rear sight is flush with the height of the RMR HD in the back where the elevation adjustment is). This is somewhere between a lower 1/4 and lower 1/3 in my opinion. Having a pair of calipers sure helps with figuring out where you want your iron sights to be. Duffy, nice work and well done. |

Thank you, lots of small details in the plate make them time consuming to make, but the end result is worth it. We've published the OPF-G6 compatibility chart to include lower 3L and 5L sights. 4L is very slightly taller than 3L so we didn't include it as it would make so little difference, but included 5L because it made a very low, nearly unusable 3L sight much more user friendly. For lower 1/4 to 1/8, it's rather difficult to pinpoint the exact relative position, it's our estimate. The compatibility chart exclusively references OPF-G6 plates. Gen 6 ORS RMR and DPP plates across manufacturers may share common heights, this will not the case for Gen 6 ORS ACRO plates from what we've seen. With the Gen 5 MOS, we've observed more than a few very out of spec ACRO plates that in pursuit of a lowered installed sight height, made the dovetail wholly out of spec, with predictable results. In lowering the RDS installed height, the RDS becomes less secure on the plate. Tangodown and we are quite familiar with tolerance stacking issues that could affect P2s battery caps and sight mounting, making the dovetail section out of spec in order to lower it is not something we'd ever consider. We adhere to Aimpoint's ACRO TDP. Attached File |
