I traded for a Glock 22 a while ago with the intent of trying to give them another chance. It didn't work out, especially since I've had surgery on my right hand and the rounded back to the grip doesn't work for me at all (read VERY PAINFUL).

Since nobody wants to trade or buy this thing from me, I'm planning to do the grip reduction and reshaping, and add a beavertail to it so I can shoot it pain free.

So, my question is after the grip modification, will it still be IDPA legal, or does it have to be in stock form?

Thanks.

It's legal for IDPA just not for SSP division.  You'll have to shoot in ESP.  No big deal, but then if you want you can use a heavier guide rod, magwell etc.
