I don't see how it would be possible because of the diameter of the G37 barrel vs the cutout of the G17 slide. Since the front of the slide is cut to the outside dismeter of the G17 barrel I believe the G37 barrel wouldn't fit because it's much larger.

Depends, are you talking about swapping whole slide assemblies, including barrels? Or are you talking about substituting a barrel?

If you were swapping out both barrel and slides to make it a 9mm weapon, you would also have to swap out the (#23) Trigger mechanism housing with ejector due to the different sizes of cartridge. Then it would work.
