| Does any one else shoot +p+ in their 9mm Glock and have you had any problems. I have shot it a few times and started using as carry ammo in my G19. |
That's like saying "my truck ain't supposed to go over 100 so I do 90". It's also a load of misinformation. The Glock is the ONLY pistol I'd trust with +P+. In fact, my load is RA9TA (for those of you who don't know it's the 127gr +P+ Ranger load) and I have had zero trouble and haven't noticed any accelerated wear. The reason I don't carry 124gr GDHP +P is because the Ranger load has a slight edge in the accuracy department out of my G19 and G26...YMMV. |
![]() He's asking about 9mm, not 40S&W. What .40 S&W ammo is labeled +P anyway? I think I've heard of some .40 Cor-Bon load that was labeled +P but that's it. I don't believe there has ever been a 40 S&W load labeled +P+. To answer the question, +P and +P+ 9mm is great in a GLOCK. |
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS +P OR +P+ IN .40! |
Correct, there is no SAMMI spec for .40S&W +p,+P+. That being said I have seen places "call" their 40S&W loads "+P" or "+P+". They said it was loaded above SAMMI specs, so it was +P. ![]() BAck to the OP: I shoot +P+ in my G19,G17. FB |
Whoops! Wasn't thinking! It was in my 17 and 19 not my 22/23. .40 is not made in +P. |
Once again for those of you who missed the large print or can't read... There is NO SUCH THING as +P or +P+ in .40 ! |
