Does anyone know where Scherer is based out of?  Tried finding some company info for them on the Web and only came up with individuals with Scherer for sale.

Thanks

TacticalSmurf- thanks for asking the question.  I've been looking for contact info on them also.  I'm having trouble with my 33 rd magazine from them.

I'm wanting to find out if they have a warranty on their magazines.

Glock magazines have become pretty cheap.  I think I paid something like $30 for the 32 round factory Glock magazines.  Why don't you simply ditch the Scherer and get a factory magazine?  It would be a hell of a lot less trouble....

Why don't you simply ditch the Scherer and get a factory magazine?

I will only after I've explored my warranty options, if any.  I don't believe in letting a manufacturer off the hook if they're marketing a product that doesn't work.  If they don't stand behind their product then I won't recommend them to a friend or anyone who asks.

I can certainly understand that.  My philosophy in the case of firearms, however, is that if it doesn't work once it really can't be trusted.  In fact, I left a Scherer magazine on the picnic table at the shooting range the other day for just this reason - I'd prefer to cut my losses and move on.  I hope you can get satisfaction out of Scherer and am glad somebody will hold them to a reasonable standard.

I only want to hold their feet to the fire because, 1) I can afford to buy a GENUINE Glock 33 rd. magazine & 2) I have plenty of the 15 round magazines for the serious work.  I wanted a 'stick' magazine for fun work at the range...maybe then, I'll cut my losses and throw it away...
