| I was at Camp Eggers end of 2009-2010 and went to Bagram a few times while working with CSTC-A. I was suppose to be in Kuwait the whole time in 2021-2022 but at the last minute they said they needed me at Bagram, I was the only one they could tap (forced) to go that had been a FOO, I was like I do not need a combat patch, I have a few. It was funny dropping off gear at Camp Buehring, then getting on at Ali Al Saleem in Kuwait and flew into Bagram and there was rain the next day. I was like they just had to send me in the wet and cold season. |

I could not determine if either had maritme spring cups since the part numbers were unique. My assumption is they did not have the maritime spring cups as the part number for the 26 mod 1 and 27 mod1 TB had a standard glock part number code the maritime cups. Also, major score on the price, the last one on GB went for a lot more...though I don't know if demand would be the same today as it was then. edit @PerfectTurn also, if you're interested, PM me your address and iI'll send you a few viton o-rings that will fit your thread protector...I basically have a lifetime supply at this point Thanks again @ChemTrailz ! I got the extended slide stop, of course I ordered one online and it had the lines that didn’t continue to the end, but a local store had a NOS one from 2016 ish with the proper stamping for the extended slide stop! Also tossed some OEM maritime spring cups in. I found a NOS Sig Mod X9. Contemplating grabbing it, but it might be a little obscure for my taste, still undecided. Attached File |

Did you go the Trijicon route or the Glock night sight route? I always wonder if the Trijicon hight sights came on the guns that way or if armorers swapped the Glock night sights for high sights once the suppressor and rmr came out. As usual, 1000 questions. |

That’s not mine, it’s some afsoc dude on the gram. The pistols are delivered with GNS, the trijicon night sights was part of the HRS selection, but they aren’t always installed, depending on service; all the afsoc and NSW photos I have with the HRS have trijicon suppressor sights, usasoc is a mixed bag including optics, and I don’t have a ton of ranger reference photos with the HRS. My personal guns: Numbers matching TB model has GNS no HRS My backup TB currently has GNS, will add suppressor sights if I get a second HRS, and my carry has no TB but uses trijicon suppressor sights with the HRS. I also have mk26 mod 1 that I don’t like because I have bear paws, but figured I needed it to complete the collection |

Couple of questions for those in the know. I've always been under the assumption that the contract BUIS sights for the HRS are the white outlined front and rear trijicon supressor sight heights. All the photo references I have confirm that the trijicon supressor sights are correct, and at least the contract front sight is the white outline sight. However, finally shopping for sights and I see that trijicon has a white outline front, with a black outline rear, and just wanted to rule this out as the correct sight before ordering the white/white set. As far as issued lights, is there any specific model that has the contract? I was unable to to find one, so figured these ended up being unit purchases. FWIW I'm finalizing on NSW styled guns since I managed to finally snag a few USA LH TB barrels. |

TIA No, youll need something sae sized to fit the barrel diameter Additionally the sae threads lack the step at the barrel where the o ring interfaces, so I don’t even know if the sae threaded muzzle protector include the cutout, and if it does it would most likely be at the base of the thread protector as opposed to the muzzle end |

So the posted response was specifically referring to the groove at the bottom of the thread protector of a Glock OEM barrel. I’m guessing for the Mk27. What I don’t know is whether the barrel yawl were referring to for said Mk27 is the euro thread model? Now, pictured below is the thread protector from a new Glock 19X. There is the said groove at the bottom. Thats the size I’d like to confirm before ordering 5 different sizes. Thanks again. Attached File |

Thanks again. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/59217/IMG_1781_jpeg-3760939.JPG The o ring I referenced is for the 13.5x1LH threaded barrel, which is why the o-ring is in metric sizes I still don’t see how that will index on a barrel without getting chewed up by the threads, and would suggest using an o-ring at the base of the threaded portion(there’s a pic in this thread some posts back showing such a setup) but if you still want to try it out, I’d suggest starting with an sae sized o-ring that has an ID under 1/2” and an OD over 1/2” or the closest metric equivalent Thickness should still be around 1mm or sae equivalent. Google shows 7/16" ID, 9/16" OD, 1/16" Thickness to be a common size used, but not sure if that is for indexing at the bottom of the threads or not |

I guess I’m referring to your post #37 on page 44. Where you state there is a groove inside the thread protector and draw an arrow to it, down inside. Maybe my markings in the above photo were not seen of where I spoke of.Attached File |

Answered twice already; that is specific to a metric LH threaded barrel. Which has a step at the front of the barrel. This pic should clear up where the o-ring is interfacing Attached File Go back through my previous reply, it’s got the best help I can give you without having an OEM RH thread protector on hand. Anything beyond that you may want to start a dedicating thread |

Thanks for your help. Sorry I missed that photo of the barrel end. Yes, 19X barrel has threads that go to the end. So I measured the inside of the TP before the threads start and its .515. So thats 13mm. If I add a 13 x 11 x 1 o-ring in there I just wont crank it down hard enough to distort into the threads. Sorry to bother this Mk27 topic. I'll see my way out and delete my 25+ year old acct. |

Or you can not be melodramatic and actually read my best guestimation on a solution for your application that was already posted. Should that not work a more focused approach would get more eyes on your problem; I don’t think most folks reading the title of this thread are looking for a solution to your tech issue |

Looking for some help on SOCOM holster options for an NSW Mk27 Mod 2. Best I can tell, the Safariland 6345 DO with the fork, in multicam or FDE, seems fairly common, but I'm having trouble finding the correct drop-leg adapter. Safariland's webpage is an exercise in frustration. I'm assuming it's similar to what's available for the M17 holster kit, but with the 6345 DO. Anyone know the part number so I can start shopping? The USA marked LH threaded ones only came on complete guns and are extremely rare. The closest thing available is This, but it will have a Gen 5 marksman barrel. Despite what the description says, it's not the correct barrel (uses gen 5 marksman rifling) but will externally be visually correct except for stamping/proof marks. |

The 6354DO was designed to fit the Docter red dot (I believe it was designed to fit the farther back setup of it mounted to a dovetail mount.) That said, I have two of the same 6354do model that have been modified to fit a slide mounted RMR and Deltapoint. It takes a little dremel work (or in my case utility knife and file work), but it’s doable. 6354rds, 6390rds, 6360rds, and 6354rdso should all work without mods. |
