The Glock 19 A-Cut seems to have made it's way into SF, just not in any way I expected. I came across a post that claims it has been selected, alongside the Glock 47, by the Spanish air force. Here is the post. And the translation of said post: THE AIR AND SPACE FORCE’S GLOCKS The Air and Space Force has recently announced the award to the Spanish company Paukner S.A., Glock distributor for FCSE and FAS, of the contract to acquire “three short-arm weapon systems” for the Deployment Support and Special Operations units. This procurement began to take shape in 2023, when units such as EADA, SEADA and EZAPAC expressed the need to replace the long-serving USP Compact and USP SD. These weapons have already become obsolete for most of their missions because they cannot adopt modern sighting and illumination solutions. The weapon systems chosen are Glock’s A-Cut models in the Glock 47 and Glock 19 variants with the Aimpoint COA sight. The Glock 47 will serve as the primary weapon for the Force Protection Units (EADA, SEADA and EDHEA), accompanied by a Streamlight TLR1HL-X flashlight and Safariland RDSO holsters in a special Air Force version. They will include four magazines, two of them extended. A small number of Glock 19 COA will be used as escort weapons in the Operations Zone and for concealed carry on some missions, also with two extended magazines and two standard ones. The Glock 19 THR will serve the Special Operations Unit (EZAPAC), equipped with Streamlight TLR-VIR II flashlights and titanium B&T X-Print suppressors, also with Safariland RDSO holsters. These weapons will be delivered with an additional conventional barrel and four magazines: two factory magazines and two +2 (extended) magazines. With this acquisition, the Air Force achieves a major quality leap in its light weapons arsenal, with clear operational and logistical advantages. Regardless of the version, the weapons will share more than 70% of components, and the FP units will be able, if they wish, to configure up to four pistol models (G47, G19, G49 and G45) by swapping slides and frames of the two original models. Spain will be the first country to adopt the A-Cut weapons as a service pistol. |

What do you guys think about the Glock Store Euro import LH threaded barrels? The site says correct for the MK27. I'm assuming the markings would be incorrect on the top of the barrel. Euro G19 Threaded Barrels |

| Yesterday found a loaded G22 FDE mag full of FMJ ammo from one of the CIFs. Unfortunately, it had fallen between two 20' SEALAND containers. About 10 years of outdoors in this heat and rain had jammed the ammo/follower/spring. Into the destruction pit. |

| I doubt Glocks will ever fully go away. Even if they are acquired through un-official means. Back in 05/06 in Iraq quite a few Glock 19s found their way into guys holsters. Not even high speed guys either. Quite a few found their way out of amnesty boxes. Once they were with a unit they would get passed down to the next guys rotating in. It wasn’t just Glocks either, I remember seeing Sig SP2022 and Hi-Powers pretty frequently. |

Considering how cheap Glocks are it's less than a rounding error in their budget. |

But it’s still Glock oem with correct thread pitch so as visually it would look the part |

First, wanted to thank those that contributed to this thread! Second, after 4 years of hunting I finally came across a factory TB/MOS gun. This is one of those commercial MOSTB model number guns with the ACLXxxx serials. Just for future reference sake, this one was $750 out the door in March 2026 (about 2x the cost of a standard Gen4 G19). Curious about the extended slide stop though. I see some .mil Mod 1’s have them, some don’t. Haven’t really seen much in the Mod 2 department, wondering if anyone has guidance there? I gather that the GNS were on guns in the 2016-2019 timeframe, then when the RMR came on around 2019, the suppressor height sights were more common? Thanks in advance, would like to grab an extended slide stop if the early contract guns had them, but won’t if not. Thanks in advance! Attached File |

In total are 3 different Mk27 Mod 2's, the above, plus 2 non threaded configurations. One with extended slide stop and one without. I could not determine if either had maritme spring cups since the part numbers were unique. My assumption is they did not have the maritime spring cups as the part number for the 26 mod 1 and 27 mod1 TB had a standard glock part number code the maritime cups. Also, major score on the price, the last one on GB went for a lot more...though I don't know if demand would be the same today as it was then. edit @PerfectTurn also, if you're interested, PM me your address and iI'll send you a few viton o-rings that will fit your thread protector...I basically have a lifetime supply at this point |

I have a legitimate blue label part number mod 0, not holding my breath for a 1 but I’m awfully excited for this one. I find the GNS and no RMR to be the best looking variant of the gen4 so I plan to leave it as is once I get those other parts! |

What’s funny I had gone into shooting just my M9’s and my Sig p365xl the last few months before retirement. I Walked into a FBI range day taking a few friends around post and one of my former soldiers is now an FBI agent and we got to talking and he asked if I wanted to run a few strings. Picked up the Glock 19 and it was like old home week. My issued ones have all be gen3 but with running a 19m for 200 rounds I was shooting better than with my 92x and m9a4 and my Sigs of course. I went Home pulled out my gen4 Glock 26 and my gen3 Glock 19 (this is the one robar Fixed up after well I had to shoot some illegals in 2004 and did not get it back from my late 2004-2005 deployment) and set up my battle belt for my Glock 19 again. Same holster I ran for 5 deployments. Early fde ALS in a cut up drop leg that is not a drop leg anymore. I also Found my surefire clip holster too and a kydex g19/26 holster that was made for my guys for iwb on fobs or plain clothes. Just running a g19 is like when I went back over on my last deployment in 2021 to close down Bagram, I went through CRC (I went from Cuvil Affairs to Functional Area Contracting Officer because the Army told me too) and got a M9, an M4 with a TA01nsn, but no DCUs. I was like wait this is insane, my first none flying deployment and last deployment I’m rocking the same weapons kit. It even had a surefire m952v on it. Seeing how things have changed around Bagram was insane. |
