Curious if anyone has tried the CMC drop in kit for the Glock? I like the looks of the trigger shoe, squared up. I love my ZEV triggers but I own several CMC triggers for ARs and they've been awesome.

I love their AR triggers so I imagine it would perform just as well.

I have one en route. Played with one on a G19 at their vendor booth at a conference last week. I was impressed with it enough during dry practice there that I ordered one that night.

Coming from someone who's used an agency, overwatch and apex, the CMC is my favorite, albeit I haven't shot with one yet.

Seemed to break at same weight as a stock Glock trigger. Wall is pretty clean, for a glock. Reset is good and short. The trigger pad itself was very comfortable.

Not much else to be said IMHO when it comes to Glock triggers, stock or aftermarket. It's worth trying.

Do let us know how it fires once you get a chance.

If they are equal to the quality of their AR triggers, I will gladly try one out in my G19.

They do on their site.

I've got an apex and feel the trigger is too wide. I'm looking at the CMC. Anyone know how wide the trigger is compared to Apex flat trigger? G19.4.

Mine arrived today. Have been dry firing it for quite awhile now. I am a fan...trigger feels just as heavy as stock, which I personally like. I carry it AIWB and have become used to the stock weight.

Here are some unscientific pictures to show you it's positions. Resting position, slack taken out until wall is hit, depressed to the rear after break, and reset.

I'd also say it is just as wide as the apex. BUT, I find it to be a shorter reach than the APEX. However, I no longer own an apex so I am going off memory. The "long" reach in reference to the apex is why I no longer have it. Whereas the reach of the CMC seems to be much better -- i.e. Shorter.

When the trigger is completely depressed it seems to make contact with the frame. This does not seem to cause any issues however.

Very nice. Thanks for the review.

They do make a Gen 4 version but I've seen 2 reviews where gen 4 owners had a little trouble with fitment. But that seems to be a common issue with some gen 4 owners and aftermarket triggers.

Mine dropped in no issue (G17 gen4) I'll be ordering another for my G19 gen4.

Anyone have this and the Overwatch?  I have the overwatch in 2 glocks and love it.

That larger bottom lip looks like it might improve an already good flat trigger.

One of the few triggers I haven't tried yet, mostly because of the price.

If anyone is interested, Primary Arms has them on sale for fathers day for $129.99 which is not bad. Might breakdown and try one out now.

Check out this review before purchase. Apparently there's some issues with trigger. May be just a bad trigger from factory and isolated incident but worth the watch

Interesting. Something I'll keep a close eye on. This won't make it on my carry gun until it has been ran through its paces. CMC is a good company and if there are legitimate concerns with their triggers I am confident it will be addressed. But time will tell. Overall I am very happy with it as of now, with only dry fire. I'll update if anything comes up.

$130 is what I paid for mine. I can't justify paying the $180-185 or whatever it is when not on sale. Too rich for my blood. But the $130 makes it competitive in the aftermarket trigger world, esp since it is a true drop in, complete trigger package.

130 for a Glock trigger is just outrageous 180 is insane.  I get swapping the shoe because some do not like the stock G17 or 19 shoe but for a trigger kit that is just crazy.  I have felt a lot of different kits and the amount that they cost and what you get is just .  It is a Glock trigger not a 1911 or finely tuned CZ.

I agree with you. I've been through both the CZ phase, and the high quality 1911 phase. I've sold all of them and now only shoot glocks. I don't think they're better, and they certainly aren't as pretty or cool as 1911's....but, I spend so much time behind them whether for work, schools, classes etc I just shoot them better than a single stack frame....I don't have 100s of dollars tied up in fancy slide cuts etc. I stippled the frame myself, undercut the trigger guard myself, I invest in sights, trigger and ammo.

But yes, they are expensive just to change the geometry of the trigger, because in reality that is all you're doing.

Considering what we pay for high quality AR triggers, I don't think $180 is outrageous for a good Glock trigger. I spent even more than that on my ZEV Fulcrum trigger setup in my G34 and it's worth it IMO. Hundreds of rounds through it without a hiccup but I still don't rely on it for HD.

The CMC is closer to a HD trigger if it's been tried and trued
