Apparently he thinks this makes it worth it:

"#341 of the first 1000 imported into the U.S.A."

If it sells for 10k I'll put my 30th anniversary model on there tomorrow.

That is a Gen 1 17L.

Didn't one or two of the Gen 1 19's sell for $6K or $7K recently?

That's because there is something like less than 50 Gen 1 G19s ever made.

Gen 1 G17Ls were around for a little more period of time.

What? Last I checked the 17L was not available through blue label. Has this changed?

Far less than that even. I believe the number is either 12 or 16 first gen G19's made and that's it and one went for $6800 some months back. There were a hell of a lot more first gen 17L's made than first generation 19's. I sure would like to know what sales data this guy used to come up with his listing price and where he got his meth from.

They used to be available as blue label.  I'm not sure exactly how it works with the 17L each time Glock does a new run.  I don't recall hearing of any blue labels from the most recent run they just did, so maybe sometimes they allocate some to blue label and sometimes they don't for each run...

Atleast it has real collector value and not one of the pieces of crap in the EE that is all fubared with slidecuts and whizbang gadgets. Dont forget the namedropping of who worked on it.  Lol
If its so great and you spent all that money why not keep it?  Owner realized how ridiculous it looks?

I got my 17L on blue label just late last year(DEC).  I didn't know that they released them that way until I found one in a store.

Blue Label Glocks are ones that can be purchased at a discount by Mil., LEO, first responders or members of the GSSF.

As far as I know, there are (16) generation 1 G19's. And they went to state of Kansas ABC.

If there are/were others, I do not know of it. There was a guy saying there were more, but
no proof of it. And yep, Smokie bought the one on GB last summer and he got a second one
shortly later according to him for same money.

And yes, the 17L came out for competition during gen 1 about the same time as G18 was introduced.
And to note, the gen 1; 17C appeared around this time also.

Nope. Your correct they are not available through blue label.

HOWEVER: they WILL become available in June 2017 as well as the colored frames in OD and grey (17, 19 etc).

It's part of the summer drive to boost sales on Glock's rather old models now available.
Give it a color and front serrations: then, call it new; the dumbazz Americans will scarf it up.

Their competitors have new stuff. I would say Springfield---->but, they suck since they did their fiasco with politicking.

The 17L is listed as a Blue Label gun for GSSF members.
