| I don't know that I've ever seen a slide checkered like a 1911 front strap before. It would be a bitch to do the horizontal lines with a file, but the vertical could be done. Either way, I wouldn't attempt it on a factory slide due to how hard the metal is. An aftermarket SS slide would be much easier. |
