Bought a G4 Glock 19 today. Took it home, wife fell in love with it, told me to go buy another one because she's keeping this one  I'll still get to shoot it anyways.

So, buy another G19?  G17?  Damn!  I'd like one of each, but I can only choose one more tomorrow.  Is it bad to have a pair of 19's in the house? If I ever carry, I usually just keep it in the center console, or in my tail bag if riding my dual sport motorcycle.

Also, trigger. Take up is too long for my liking. Which drop in trigger in the 3.5 lb range?

I have a 19 with an aa 22kit on it permanently .... 2 normal 19's ...... a 19 with the grip chopped to 26 size.

So put me in the it's just fine to have more than one camp

I know that feel. My first buy was a G17 9 years ago when I turned 21.

I have a lone-wolf connector in it and I love it but there are better options if you want to drop the coin. Maybe it's just me but it really makes the trigger reset feel better.

The addiction has been re-kindled due to my purchase of a G26 and G19 within the last two months.

Another 19 is good, but first spend the price of a new one on holsters, mag carriers, and extra magazines.

I have three Glock 17's, mag compatibility is nice, as is the identical grips, sight pictures, weights, trigger pulls, etc., etc.

I hate to say this but you'll find that there will always be another one you need.  Happy hunting.

two 19s is perfectly fine and you've got a good justification for it. I got a gen4 19 last year and bought another one recently in another color. One has a dedicated light, the other doesn't. That's how I justify them.

To eliminate take-up on the trigger you'll want to try an aftermarket trigger and/or connector.
I tried 3 after market connectors and then took them out due to various problems. However my 17 has an overwatch precision DAT trigger in it with a factory connector and extra strength trigger spring. It feel great.
Not 3.5lb as I would never recommend that for carry especially with a Glock. But better.

G17 is best Glock but G19 is best daily carry Glock.

I have three gen4 19s - in black, fde and battlefield green. I like having backups to my carry gun that are setup very similarly, and the 19 is just a great do-it-all handgun that is very capable. Guns themselves are setup the same, but have a couple of different lights that I run on them for reasons.

I got my first glock only a year ago. Now I have 3; a 26, 19, &17.

I want to keep going with the 9s and get a 34.

But I also want to branch out to 10mm and get a 20, then get some conversion barrels. That sounds really fun for a reloader like me, except for picking up the brass haha.

2nd glock 19 always nice, consider the g42 pocket gun? maybe my fav glock now? uhhhhh....have 3 g19 threaded barrel models which i like alot. unfort to get better trigger have to spend $$$$. check out overwatch precision triggers, use them in all my glocks. have worked great. look at changing some springs and dot connector. my pistols have been reliable and make for a much better shooting exp. my new g42 is turning out to be great pocket gun.

If it's not going to primarily be a inside the waistband gun, no reason not to get the G34. Longer Sight radius, better trigger, a bit smoother shooting, higher velocity, and a good compliment to the G19.

Well, went to the gun shop the next day and ended up with a Sig P320 in FDE.

It's pretty enough to have made the wife give me my damn G19 back

Oh boy. Now on top of the Glock bug you've got the Sig sickness. I've got a Sig P938 I've been carrying for a long time. I've also got a G20 with a KKM Precision 6" barrel that I've had for a bit. And more recently I picked up two G26's in Battlefield Green, a G43 in Battlefield Green and a G43 in black. The last four I picked up in one week. I was real sick. Almost had to stop at the ER. LOL
