I have the lone wolf conversion and shoots well , but shot 40 for years out of stock 10mm barrel in two glock 20's and a 29 with no issues either. Just be careful slamming home the mags with the slide locked back . 40 cal has some play in that mag and can pop out .

I don't think I'd go out of the way for a .40 barrel unless you have another driving reason to shoot .40, I will say the G29sf/G29.4 with .40 conversion barrel with both fairly soft shooting compared to the dedicated .40 models of similar size. |
