So I bought my first Glock. A G20 10mm. Just cause I wanted a 10mm and after comments about it here. Now it will be a while before I shoot it cause I royally fucked up my shooting arm. It does feel nice in the hand and will take a bit to get used to breaking it down to clean verse my Sigs. Yet I was bored with normal rounds and have looked at the 10mm for a while. And after threads here I got the G20 cause all said that the recoil even on hot loads the plastics help. Will re-post when I take it to the range with low powered loads and the loads that are close to 41mag loads. For me if I sit too long without being able to anything I buy new toys. This is the one I haven't ever shot and from research looks like a lot of fun to Shoot.

My first glock was a g40, then a 29. Now I'm wanting a g20 to round out the collection. Hopefully a single stack g29 comes out before I die lol

Wow you are like one of the top Glock haters ....  you really do not know the power of the dark side but you will learn.

I give you by summer you will want a G17/19.

Start practicing shooting one handed with the uninjured arm. People shot pistols one handed from the dawn of firearms until just about fifty years ago! Some of us still shoot one handed today ( bullseye competition ) so as long as you have one good arm and one good hand go shooting! Most mainstream 10mm loads are scarcely hotter than a 40 so handling this should be no problem.
