| Maybe this is a stupid question...but is there any way to "mill" or cut a rail slot onto the frame? Or is there even room to mouth a light? Im thinking it would be really nice to throw a XC1 on... |

Primary Arms has them on sale for 88 bucks. I really like mine it is perfect size, brightness, and works really well. The added weight makes the G43 easy to shoot fast as well.

Thanks for the pic, but can you explain how it attaches? |

It uses 3 hex head screws to hold the pieces of the housing together and locks around the trigger guard. See the installation instructions here. You can buy either a complete kit (which is what Primary Arms has on sale) which has one light laser module and multiple housings for different pistols, or as a single kit which has one housing and the module. ETA: Not mentioned earlier, but you have the option to have light only, laser only, or both with a single click of the buttons on either side. You can toggle between options by pressing both buttons at the same time. |

Yup well said .... it takes getting used to the switch activating it but once you train a bit with it you will learn the momentary and on feature. |

Cheapest price I have seen the kits . I ordered 2. Just wish they came with the 1911 module. Will have to see about ordering one from Streamlight directly. Might be able to mod one of the frames..... One might be just close enough with a few tweaks it would work. |
