| Did anyone get a shipping notice yet? I ordered mine on the 25th and I have yet to get a tracking number and the site says awaiting fulfillment. Is this normal for them or are they just taking longer due to the sale? |

JUst spoke to them. They were super nice. Spoke to AJ or something. He said they just didn't expect the influx of orders they got but everything would be shipped as soon as possible. Kinda felt bad even calling now because they were so nice. Exact for me, ordered on the 25th, called today and they were super nice, said they are bombarded by the BF sales, basically said they were really backed up. I did not even ask when it will ship. 77 |

Got mine today. Really feels great. I'm going to have to put a few rounds through it before I carry it. I will also have to do some experimenting with the ghost rocket I believe I have in it. It's the one with the over travel stop. I don't know if this is the cause of the issue I'm having or not but I'm going to try some different ones.
My issue is when I squeeze the trigger slowly like a precision shot it feels mushy at the end and you really have to squeeze out the break of the trigger at the end of the pull. Now if you do just a regular trigger pull it breaks very nicely. Both ways still breaks and have nice resets. It also takes out about 1/4"-3/8" of pre travel out of the trigger. So far I like it a lot. Just need to test to insure reliable ignition to be able to carry it in my edc Glock 19. I've heard stuff about the minus or dot Glock connector being better for this trigger I'll go that route first. |

I put a DOT connector in my Gen 3 G34 with my TAC trigger and I love the feel. Crisp, clean break, no mush. Don't misunderstand me. I get a clean break too when I do a standard pull of the trigger. It's when I try to slowly break the trigger like someone would on a long range shot to be more accurate. It gets right to the end of travel and then goes mush before it barely breaks. If you just do a normal pull of the trigger it breaks great. I've sanded more off the rocket over travel stop to see of that matters and it didn't change. Maybe it is the ghost rocket connector all together. Maybe I need to try the trigger spring back to stock? I need to shoot it to know more. Don't get me wrong I'm happy. With the rocket I do have almost no reset. It's about 1/4" to reset. I've seen this before with my springer precision trigger in my Springfield xdm 3.8. Standard pull of the trigger great but if you tried to ride the trigger break it mushers a little. |

No mine didn't come with a new spring.
On another note I think I smoothed out the mush problem on a slow pull of the trigger by taking the 6lb trigger spring off that I had on it before the trigger and put the 5lb back on. Or whatever lb it is, it's the factory one. It seems to have smooth the trigger pull out no matter how I pull it. May not be quite as light but you can really barely tell it and since the pull is smoother it's a better trigger. Edit to add: This is on my Gen 2 Glock 19 that I've carried everyday almost for 4 years. Probably 2000 rounds through it since I've had it but it's been updated with new spring when's I got it. |
| I like the DAT trigger I ordered on black Friday so much that I just decided to try the TAC trigger for a custom G17 that I'm building. It will be mated with the remainder of a ZEV ultimate fulcrum trigger kit. I now have the Zev trigger bar on the EE. I'll report back if this thread is still alive when the trigger arrives on how it feels with the Zev parts (springs, rear trigger housing, skeletonized firing pin, etc). |
