Thanks to those of you keeping this moving.
 I'm trying to free up some more barrels to ship but they're flying out the door so quickly.

FYI I just received the G17 threaded barrel. I'll use it this week. One question....what should I use to tighten the thread protector? It's coming loose just dry firing.

I'd love to try out your g34 barrel. I have a gen 4 g34. I'm in the market for one and if it works well I'll be purchasing one. I will hold off on buying one from another company to see how this goes. Even if I don't get to try it I'm still interested and will keep an eye on this thread. I think this is a cool idea from the company and hope people are respectful about it.

Ok thanks. By hand it comes loose I'm doing a IDPA match tomorrow I'll run it with the protector off if that's Ok?

G17 barrel just arrived at my place today. Unfortunately, I leave for a work trip tomorrow, so I won't get a chance to shoot it before it goes in the mail tomorrow to GatMo.
General impressions: Nice quality material and machining, threads are smooth and cut well. Fits my G4 OD Green G17 very well, tight lockup with minimal movement (far less than the OEM barrel). Only downside I see is that there are some edges that are sharp, so would be nice to see those edges knocked down a bit just to smooth the barrel for handling/cleaning purposes. Wish I had a chance to shoot it, but guess that's how things work! In the mail tomorrow to GatMo. Seth |

due to my schedule and the only range time being dedicated to working up to a PRS match - I'm going to go ahead and send it to @Combat_Jack @olympiccerakote Quality is awesome from my observations and I'm just going to order one for myself here in the next few weeks. |

It's been a while since I updated my experiences with the OC barrel.
It continues to best the factory barrel with almost all my loads, from handloaded competition coated lead loads all the way up to full house duty rounds. From 124gr bullets up to 165gr plated. If you need a replacement barrel to squeeze a little more accuracy out of your Glocks for competition or a threaded barrel for your suppressor hosts, you cannot go wrong with the OC barrel. Don't wait on the sample barrel, just buy one. The fit, finish, and quality is apparent. It eats everything. I'm impressed, and I'm not easily impressed. These guys support the site and make a great product. Do it!

Got the barrel late last night. Reached out to Overkill for his address so I can send it right away when I'm done.
I don't know how many rounds were put through the pipe but the barrel looks phenomenal! Can't wait to try it out. |

Is it appropriate to ask here if there's been any progress toward conversion barrels? I'd really love a 9mm barrel for my Gen4 G22.
I recall someone earlier stating they'd used your G17 barrel in their G22, but something tells me that it can't quite be that easy... |

It works and it shoots. The big difference is in the external dimensions, where-as the barrel diameter on the 17 is slightly smaller. So it'll sort of float in the 22 slide. I cannot speculate whether or not that would wear the slide or not in any way with lots of shooting. I can tell you the POI is a little different too. It'd take some good testing to see long term how it would run, but I've got my hands full right now so I couldn't do it myself. |

Barrel in the mail to Overkill
I'm sorry but I wasn't able to shoot the 17 barrel either; new position at work tore me from my plans and I didn't want to sit on it any longer. Again it's a very sharply made barrel and I'm excited to get the 43 version that I WILL shoot!

I put about 300 rounds through the G17 barrel in my gen 2. No issues. Seemed to shoot the same as my oem barrel but my shooting isn't good enough to be able to tell a difference.
I got it all boxed up and ready to ship. @Rush4theYehO just need your address. Thanks for the opportunity, it was fun and a great excuse to burn a bunch of rounds in one range session! When I'm ready to go suppressed, I see no reason not to pick up one of these barrels. |

See, the way this works is each person uses it for a week or two then sends it to the next person. When you get it you can post in this thread, then post again when you send it out. It's not that hard. Once gotuonpaper sent it I at least figured since the next two guys had already done this shit I might see it soon. This is fucking retarded. |
