For those who use MagPul  glock mags would you trust your life on them or would you use Glocks  manufactured mags.

I have a bunch of Glock OEM mags and I use those for EDC.  That said, every Magpul Glock mag I have has been 100% reliable and if I grabbed one of the Pmags instead of the Glock OEM mag, I wouldn't be concerned at all and would carry it.

I would just tell anyone, that ANY mag you plan on carrying, use it 1st to verify it functions in your gun(s).  This even includes Glock OEM mags.  I have seen a brand new Glock OEM mag cause all kinds of failures before.

I have several of each. I have no problem using the Magpul mags as range and competition mags.

I only use Glock mags in the social work guns.

I too use Magpul for range use and use official Glock mags for CCW/HD.

I was just getting ready to post this same question. I need to get some new G19 mags.

Tell me why you wouldn't carry this as daily carry mags? Is it because they do not have the metal re-enforcement inside them?

I have two mags that are OEM G19 mags. They cracked on the feed lip after hitting pavement. I like the price of the PMag's and do not look forward to paying OEM prices. The two mags I need to replace are 10 rounders. I will replace with 15 round mags.

I've got a couple (prefer ETS though), and wouldn't think twice about carrying them for daily use.  They've proven themselves perfectly functional in my carry piece just as the OEM mags have.

My only gripe with the MAGPUL mags is the lack of witness holes but that's mainly in competition for IDPA and USPSA production.

My USMS buddy uses them exclusively for the range where thousands of rounds have been put through them with no issues. He told me they are good to go and buy with confidence.

However, He won't use them on duty, only OEM for now.

Mine are only range mags I had a few issues early on.  Left over plastic flashing gave me a few issues with them. Once I cleaned them up and shot them never had an issue since.

Probably because most agencies require you to use OEM mags in your handguns. Although those same agencies usually let you use numerous different brands of mags in your AR.

Hundreds of rounds through Magpuls with zero malfs

I've got a few.

Got a few thousand rounds through them so far.  Had one malfunction with the first mag, first 5 rounds through it, on a brand new G19 with suspect ammo.  Since then, no issues with any of the mags.  I've used several types of ammo, including shitty steel case, high quality JHP and everything in between.

With that said, I am no longer using these on the range, instead I am using ETS magazines.  The magpuls work just fine, I feel I have vetted them, and I trust them.  Now I need to do the same to the ETS mags to see if I can trust them too.

No issues with ETS or Magpul magazines, short of a few failures to lock back with ETS 22 rounders which were fixed with new springs from their excellent CS.

I'd have no problems using either for defensive purposes, but since I have plenty of OEM magazines for that, I can't see any reason that I would.

So far, they are range mags, but again, if I had to use them, I wouldn't have any concerns.
