* I did a search and didn't see this mentioned, if so someone please link so I can read that one. *

Has anyone tried one of these?  It reminds me of the newer HKs and while I mainly see it as a solution to a question nobody I know of asked, I could also see it being kind of handy on a subcompact.

I have it on my Glock 19, it is definitely useful if you sling shot or power stroke your slide. Another observation was that the shape of it when looking down your sight picture provides a silhouette that better directs you to the front sight. Almost makes a pyramid type shape as oppose to your sight sitting on top of a block (glock slide). It also is not bulky in my opinion.

One thing to note however, is that it makes your slide look like its out of battery kind of since it extends a bit further back, not sure if that will slow you down any. I tend to look at the ejection port for out of battery issues, not the rear of my slide.

Seems like a solution looking for a problem.  When I take new shooters out, Glocks generally aren't ones they have issues working the slide on.  Generally going to be something small like the CZ, but even then there's hardly a problem there either.
