Did I miss the memo?.....Glock quit importing their barrels?  Gemtech had good stock for awhile and now it's not even on their website.

I got all my pre41P on the way and got all metric pistons.  Looking for 21 and 19 barrels.

And yes I know I have aftermarket options just trying to avoid as I got all metric at this point.

I did just the opposite. I was going to go OEM Glock too but I didn't want to get tied to that Glock specific metric thread or have to have multiple pistons so I decided to stick with 1/2x28 and got a Silencerco barrel... not that any of that helps you.

I do see Glock OEM threaded barrels pop up on the EE fairly frequently so I would check that out often because they do tend to go quick.

Look in EE. I see them listed periodically. That's were I bought my factory 19 threaded barrel from.

Glock did them that way because they don't come loose while shooting, like the RH threads sometimes do.

BTW - If anyone comes across the factory OEM thread protectors, I need a few. Happy to pay for them.

My OEM barrel (purchased from here) came with a plastic thread protector and from what I've read the factory pistols with threaded barrels come with the same. Have you seen an OEM metal thread protector?

The thread protector on mine was plastic junk.

I've got a really neat glock 19 ome barrel threaded 13x1rh and piston. I was lucky to get the original piston for it. I wish I could find a 13.5 threaded barrel for it so I don't have to change Pistons between platforms.

So with the barrels not being imported then, what about the glock tb guns?

What about them?

I always read if you don't want left handed threads, Glock parts is not the way.....aftermarket' LW, ZEV etc.

I bought a Bar-Sto "ported" SS 9mm barrel. The is no difference I can tell. But, I am NO expert either. Only top-level shooters would know the difference. I have a loong way to go to gain that level of performance. Through self evaluation, trainor's evaluations and being honest with yourself, does this understanding come to forefront.

But, if you want the threaded barrel for for hunting or other applications.....go for it. Just remember the threads are opposite from the regular stock Glock parts.

Those all have Glock factory barrels in them (with matching serials), but I'm not sure they're even making those Gen 3 guns anymore. There seems to be quite the surplus of all 4, from what I've seen.

If you read their page, they don't sell to lowly civilians. Only LEO or other public service type professionals.

This, you just have to jump fast when you see one. Mine was listed for only about 10 minutes before I grabbed it, and someone immediately had claimed seconds.

$125 for a G19 OEM threaded barrel with 25 rounds through it.
