Try before you buy, and don't focus on caliber or firearm size to much. Carrying a firearm that you shoot well and feel comfortable with is far more important than picking a caliber, as most modern JHP's are more than adequate for SD. A good holster/belt will work wonders when it comes to concealment. ~g |
| The 19, 26, and 43 all make great concealed carry guns. I shoot 19 the best and conceal it well. I shoot the 26 almost as well and conceal it a little better. I don't have a 43 because I have a Shield for the rare times I want something smaller than a 26, but I'd be just as happy with a 43. |

As mentioned, single stack Glocks are: G36=.45, G42=.380, G43=9mm. Those are Glock's single stack pistols.
But don't limit yourself, if your liking the prementioned pistols, the G26 should be on your list. In terms of concealability, weight and capacity=up to 33/rd mags it accepts. G26 is a good choice.... |
