I ordered a roland special barrel and comp from KKM last night, ended up going with black nitride. How long did you guys have to wait to get your barrel? Site says 7 weeks for g19 barrels and 90 days for black nitride so I guess close to 5 months from now I will get my Barrel and comp?

Still need to swap over to a G19 ejector and throw in a - connector but it's getting there.
RMR comes tomorrow....now just need to maybe trade these glock 19 mags I ordered for a sure fire light. Didn't know G19 mags didn't fit with the Freya mag well.

Haven't tried the Magpul or ETS 19 sized mags with the Freya, but stock fit and function fine. |

It was dying during dry fire and slide release. Bent both contacts and added a piece of electrical tape.

Of 5 rmr's I own, only one ever flickered... the tape loop and rubberband wedge solved that issue. I do it on all of mine now as a unnecessary precaution. |

So I fo'd on the cabelas RMR and want to put it on a glock here are the ideas I've kicked around:
Buy an MOS 19 and make a Fauxland special Buy an aftermarket G17 slide that's milled for the RMR (Suarez is what I was leaning towards) Or make a mini Fauxland special with a G26. I saw that KKM has a barrel and comp for the G26 but haven't seen any pictures of a comp'd 26 Anyone have any input? |

My "Not-Glock" Roland is completed.
I'm not sure when I'll get to shoot it, and I'm sure it'll take some tuning, but overall I'm psyched. The aluminum frame adds some weight, but unloaded it still seems lighter than my 1911 (I'm sure 18-27 rds of 9mm will edge out 9rds of 45 weight wise). CCF Raceframe Aluminum Alloy frame cerakoted Armor Black by Olympic Unity Tactical ATOM Slide OEM Glock Threaded barrel, slide, and frame parts RMR06 X300U-B TBRCI 13.5x1 Comp Taran Tactical +6 extensions Custom cut talon grips 
I considered an OP trigger, but I went with a minus (-) connector and the trigger feels great (partially due to the frame). I figure the money at this point is better spent on a Dry Fire Mag. I'm not sure when I'll get to shoot this, and I'm sure it'll need some tuning. But it's pure sex as it stands. |

For those guys running the TBRC micro comp in 1/2x28, how is it? Will that work with my Silencerco G19 barrel? Will it be flush to the slide when closed or a gap? Do the set screws mar the barrel?

Finally got the Blacklist G19 threaded barrels in stock. Looks like a 0.050" gap with the TBRCi micro comp! Tested out a barrel without a comp, not bad results for shooting off a bench. 25 yards

I tried it with mine back when I got one. It fit, but there was decent space on the sides. And the magazine cut on the font was taller than the top of the magwell, so there was a hole there.

Got my sweet custom holster yesterday, here's how it went.
-Order insanely nice custom retention holster from OTG Hex. -Select Safariland mounting option and level 2 blade tech retention holster. -Receive insanely nice holster and discover they use the Safariland SLS hood (not blade tech, awesome!) 
-Also discover that while it uses Safariland mounting parts it doesn't use the female thread nuts. Wait for answer on what parts to use and how much they cost.

put a tbrci on glock 17 pro w/ rmr and sico barrel , now slide will short stroke no ejection took it back off and its fine... any thoughts appreciated

Yup, what TBCA_joe said!
When you use ammo with heavier grain, you generally have less expanding gas too, so I've found in my exeperience that 124 gr and heavier projectile loads will work fine with barrel mounted comps. It's simply a function of how much gun powder is in the case and how much gas is coming out of the barrel/working on the comp, versus the strength of the recoil spring. Shoot 115 gr with a comp: use a 13 or 15 pound recoil spring (manufacturer's stength varies) Shoot 124-147 gr or higher with a comp: you can can use the stock RSA. |

RMR question. What is the difference between an RM 06 and an RM 06 type 2? I see a lot of places advertising the 06 but not listing the type 2. On the Trijicon sight they are listed as type 2.

Seems like the "type 1's" can be found for ~$400 these days, type 2's are in the $600-$700 range. |
