Hi all,
Here is a video of my friend shooting his new G43. This is after about 250 rounds total through the gun, using Speer Lawman 124g ammo. The problem persisted with Remington UMC 115g and Freedom Munitions 124g; and it did it with both him shooting and me shooting the gun. The majority of ejections are about what they should be, but many fling off to the left or go straight up and land on the head. What do you think? Advice? Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLWdpKkzIyM Edit: Everything shown in the video is Speer Lawman except for the last string. That is Wichester Ranger. I forgot about this in my original post. In the video, you can here me say "it's worse." I remember now I said that because we wanted to try the Ranger loads to see if it was different than the Speer. |

My first step would be to see that the extractor is still in good shape, and that it's moving freely so it can hold the casing in relatively the same/correct position for constant ejection. My experience is that it gets worse with cheap ammo, with the UMC being the worst, so the Speer Lawman should be good. |

Most likely the ammo. UMC 115 is very weak. I don't use Freedom ammo but I suspect it is weak also.
How did the gun shoot with Speer 124, a nice warm load? If it ejects to the left like in the video, even with good, hot, quality ammo, I would consider calling Glock. Quoted:
Yep, shitty ammo causes problems |

Yep, shitty ammo causes problems I don't know about Freedom Ammo, but I wouldn't consider UMC or Speer Lawman "shitty". I've shot quite a bit of UMC in my time and it's always goes boom and is relatively accurate. It's not top notch but "shitty"? Seems like a stretch to me. Either you are making a joke and I didn't get it, or you are an ammo snob. Either way, Glocks are supposed to be to hell and back reliable and if it can't function on range ammo, I would not consider that all that reliable. My G26 runs fine on UMC and actually seems to be pretty accurate with it.

It's a fuckin' Glock. That's what they do.
My 43s (2 of 'em) fling brass all over the place. The very same shitty ammo I buy by the case lands in a nice pile when I shoot it through my Beretta and Sigs. If Speer Lawman and Federal American Eagle ain't good enough, then fuck that snotty piece of shit!
