Has anyone used one for long period of time? I've been using it on and off with my gen 4 19. I really like the beavertail and my perceived controllability that it offers over stock.  But I seem to be stringing shots left more often. I'm curious on anyone's thoughts on their use of the product.  All the reviews I find are years old and the do not seem as popular.

I have one on a G17 and a G34.

I like them.  I find that they help with trigger finger placement and decrease muzzle flip (at least for me)....but I have big hands and long fingers.

Of you have shorter fingers, maybe the addition of the GFA is placing your trigger finger more towards the point of the finger than in the center of the pad?  That would push your shots left if it were the case.

Thanks for the info. That's what I thought at first, but placement/pointing feels even better with it. Perhaps I've just become sloppy lately with my shooting. Curious if people are still running them after their initial trials,  or if I've run into a marketing fad.

I've have one on my Gen 3 G19 and G26 for many years now. I have them on there to prevent slide bite because I use a thumbs forward, high hold grip on all semi-autos. I know many people say they don't get bit, but I've seen countless people at the range and in shooting videos with a gap between their hand and the top strap which is why many don't get bit. I don't need one on my G43 since that area is a little more pronounced than every other model. Too bad they don't adapt that to the rest of the line. Glock now includes something similar with their Gen 4 pistols so I wouldn't call it a marketing fad.
