Well I have been looking for a Austrian proofed Glock 19.3 since my psycho ex wife stole and pawned my KUX serial numbered one I bought in 2009. Well I found a KUY serial numbered one just like the one I had before. Got a good price on it as well.  Thanks Sam!

Here is the one that was pawned

What does Austrian proofed mean? I haven't heard of it before but either way, nice piece!

I had two but only have one now.

Basically during the great Obama gun buy of 08/09 Glock ran out of pistols so they imported pistols originally for the European market.  So the pistols have proof marks unlike American pistols that don't have to have them.  Just a unique Glock neerd thing.

These were actual Austrian pistols imported during a shortage during 2009. They are proofed with Austrian eagles after they tested to withstand a 130% test load. They are thought to have been originally intended for the Iraqi police but the contract was cancelled.

Anyone ever seen one marked Smyrna GA with Austrian nitro proofs like this one captured from Iraqi Kurds by Turkish forces.
