why doesnt glock make a compact .45 only a full size (21) and a sub compact(30)?   I would really be happy if they made one

Look at the G36 (.45ACP), it's a single stack version of the double stack G30 (.45ACP).  The slide and frame are about equal width and size as the 9mm Glock 19 and will even use some of the same holsters.

I just realized that they don't make a compact .45, it would most likely sell if they did.  They make the GAP in one, G38

The 36 is the same size as the 30 it is just thinner

The G30 and G36 are small enough.  I cant stand pinky dangle guns.

how do you suppose they would make one smaller? make the grip shorter ? slimmer? less than 6 rounds ?

To get a "full size grip" on a G-30 substitute a G-21 13rd mag and an A&G mag spacer made specifically for this application. (mag with spacer less than $25)

compact does not mean smaller than the baby Glocks.  The compact Glocks are the medium sized Glock like a 19 or 23.  Glock has full size 17/22/20, Compact 19/23/38, Sub Compact 26/27/30.  By compact he is asking why don't they make a .45 in the same size as the 19/23.

Look at the dimensions of the G29/30 compared to the G19/23/32. They are very very close. What Glock really doesn't make is a SUBcompact .45. The exception being the G39 in GAP.
