Had a gen 4 G19 last year, did not like it. Kept getting brass to the face and the trigger sucked. Would like to try another, but am a little cautious. Holding a gen 4 I like them much better, and the mag release also. Any advice???

Get a Gen4 and replace the extractor with one from Glockmeister or Apex if it has major BTF issues.

Maybe Perfection isn't for you? All kidding often times people are limp wristing it. The BTF thing has been way over exaggerated.

My 2012 3rd gen g19 kept throwing brass in my face and top of my head. Sent it to glock and they did nothing first time, they sent it back to me saying no issues. Literally first round after getting it back hit me in the head. Needless to say I was pissed and sent it back again after some tempered emails. Second time they replaced extractor, and surprise its much better. I was told multiple times on here I must be limp wristing it, funny my older g19 and two older g17s never pegged me.

They changed the recipe and not for the better.

But fast forward to now and I've been carrying the same 2012 g19 for 3yrs now with no other issues.
