So I bought an Advantage Arms 22 rimfire conversion for my Glock 20 and they recommend CCI mini mag 40 gr. RN. So after looking for 3 days and not finding any, are the neckbeards still hoarding this, how many million rounds do these assholes need or are they reselling it. Guess I will try Walmart at 5:00 and see who shows up.

For the last 3 years, I can probably count the times I've seen 22lr on the shelf using the fingers of one hand...

If your willing to work for it so to speak, online is your best bet. With buying limits it's still not easy to amass much of a supply quickly.

Since I reload, handgun ammo is cheap for me. Using my own cast boolits, I can load 9MM, 38/357, .40 and a few others for less than or close to the average price of 22lr

I also built 2 9MM AR's replacing my plinking 22 rifles. Cuts down on the amount of 223/5.56 I go thru.

Being that your 20 aluminum slide may weigh a smidge more than my AA 17 slide, it MAY be more picky with ammo.

Mine runs fine on Automatch, CCI lead and copper, Will cycle 9/10 CCI quiets, and Golden Bullets. I'll get 1 or 2 light strikes per mag with Thunderbolts that the manual says not to use. I've used every ammo under the sun including weird russian moldy .22 in aluminum cases fresh off the boat and it still worked fine. You just have to keep the lead scraped off the feed ramp with your fingernail more often lol.

The pistol I shoot the most:

Some AA kits require a few hundred rounds to wear in.  I run my AA kits pretty wet with Breakfree CLP when new.   It is important to keep the sliding ejector lubed.  Some posters found they improved functioning by polishing the barrel and sliding ejector.  I also put a drop of CLP on the recoil spring guide rod.  A lot of AA kits function better with suppressors because of the added back pressure from the suppressor.
