Hello all

Long time lurker, first time posting.

I recently picked up a gen 3 G23. Only upgrade has been night sights. I have been leary of doing any inturnal upgrades (too many war stories via the web). But my buddies at the gun shops keep telling me to do the 3.5# trigger disconnect.

What are y'alls thoughts? gtg, or leave it alone?  The trigger isn't bad per say... but I do like the idea of having it a little smoother.

I have the 3.5 or the "-" connector is all my glocks. I prefer it, but I feel that to get the best feel out of the trigger it also needs a 25 cent trigger job (just a light polish of many of the moving surfaces. My G22 that I carry on duty, G23, and G27 all have the lighter connector and a polish job. No malfunctions or any problems at all. Trigger is lighter with the 3.5 and smoother because of the polish.

In my compact Glocks I run the following setup.

G17 smooth trigger (Glock OEM)
"-" connector
Heavy trigger reset spring (takes the mushy clunk feeling out of the Glock trigger)
Lighter safety plunger spring

My trigger gauges 3.96# no creep, crisp break, positive reset and little to almost no over travel and under $40 in parts.
