I have a Glock 22, and I've decided I want to sell the upper, buy a G17 upper, and swap any necessary frame parts. I'm not interested in using a conversion barrel. I've looked online but there's a ton of misinformation.
So other than the top half being swapped out, are there any parts in the frame that are different between the 17 and 22? Thanks. ETA: Gen 3 |

Yes, the ejector is different. You could buy the trigger housing with correct ejector...like this http://www.glockstore.com/glock-factory-parts/trigger-housing/glock-trigger-housing-w-ejector Ahh yeah, I knew there was something in the frame I was forgetting. Thanks. |

Then threw a G17 complete slide on. I need to sell my G22 upper but I just can't let it go . Plus the 15-20 G22 magazines.

But think of all the money I'll save by shooting 9mm instead of .40S&W!
Since I bought an MP5 and a G19, and I want to buy another G19, (and a full-auto Uzi in a year or so...but that's another story), I'm just trying to consolidate calibers. With any luck, I'll get from 8 calibers to 4. |
