i want to build a glock in 9mm for $800ish.  It is my friends 30th and he is a racer in all things, running, cars, and etc... I was hoping for a sweet trigger job, mag well/ mags bases, and a stippling job with his initials.  What can i get or expect for this amount of money?

Thanks

Wow, you wanna be my friend???

What's you friend going to use it for?  Competition shooting?  That would help provide better suggestions...

Haha.. i think he may want to start entering pistol shooting comps.. I do not know what parts put you into the more difficult divisions.I just want him to have the best pistol possible when starting.

In USPSA certain divisions have restrictions on the types of modifications you can do to your gun.  A 9mm Glock works best in Production division, but some of the mods you listed aren't legal for Production.  You can have all those mods and more in Limited division, but 9mm is at a disadvantage in Limited due to scoring, a .40 is better for Limited.

Ok then, what are the best triggers and sweet stippling jobs I can get for him?  The last guy got a stainless springfield armory 1911with custom monogrammed initials. This guy wants a gun build for speed and precision that looks badass.

A Glock 34 with aTravis Haley skimmer trigger and some warren tactical sights should make him stoked.
