I'm looking to have a grip reduction on my 17 and would like to have the finger groves removed and the trigger guard undercut and rounded. I see that Coldbore Custom provides this service and I like the looks of their texturing. Any feedback or advice about this topic?
Thanks

Not to sound like a Jackass...But why not trade in Your 17 For a Glock 19?

I had them do a grip reduction and chop on a G17 and a reduction on a G21. Outstanding job and I highly recommend Lane's work.

I believe he just wants the hump removed which is usually meant by reduction. Shortening is usually called a chop. But then again, I could be wrong.

Yes I want the hump and finger grooves removed. I do own a G-19 also and may have a grip reduction done on it too.

Does closing up the hollow gap in the back of the frame affect the reliability of the gun, even slightly?
