My g43 trigger is.....firm.
Not Yugo SKS hard, but, like many of us, could stand to lose a few pounds. Has anyone dropped a ghost connector in yet? A 25 cent trigger job didn't do much btw. |

I put one in. It dropped the trigger from 8-8.25lbs to 6-6.25lbs--it feels MUCH better.
I then polished all the trigger internals and safety plunger, and that brought it down another .25lbs, then cut like two coils off the safety plunger spring. Now I'm at 5-5.25lbs, and it feels really good. -- NOTE: I'm getting my Taran Tactical +1 and +2 mag extensions today (Saturday), so I'll hit the range around 3-4pm and get a report posted here tomorrow night. Since I'm getting my G19 done up with an Agency Arms trigger, I decided to get one for my G43. I may like it, I may sell it. |

I don't see how you guys have such heavy triggers from the factory. I measured mine and it was consistently 6 1/4#. I haven't measured anything with a pull gauge, but the trigger on the range rental G43 felt noticeably heavier than the one on my new G17 FWIW. |
