Does anyone have a higher end ZEV Glock 17? One with the competition trigger, serrations on the slide, and grip reduction?
I am interested in one, but want to make sure they are worth the money. |
| If you want one then it would be worth the money to you. If you want a race gun Zev is one of a few good choices. If you want a daily carry I would look for something else the Zev custom rigs are competition finely tuned guns. Not to say if you carried it the thing would not go bang but you would not drive your 1000+hp race car everyday. Just my opinion. If you get one post pics! |

This seems to be the one thing I hear about the Zev triggers that I don't like. You sacrifice the nice factory break for a lighter trigger. Quoted:

I kinda miss the factory Glock trigger break. This seems to be the one thing I hear about the Zev triggers that I don't like. You sacrifice the nice factory break for a lighter trigger. I've actually really come to like factory Glock triggers. So Zev doesn't appeal to me. |

Yeah, I didn't realize that the "wall" would be gone with ZEV. Drank that $240 cup of koolaid without asking any questions. It's nice and light but seems long now. You've got something adjusted wrong. The travel is noticeably shorter on my Fulcrum than my factory triggers (with either OEM or ZEV connectors). |

I've got the uptake adjusted up to the trigger safety and the overtravel adjusted so it stops as soon as it breakes. I think I consider it long because there isn't a wall anymore. |
