I have a 2nd gen M20 (early 90's vintage) with non-drop free mags. Since I currently live in a high-cap mag ban commie state, new(er) mags are not an option. Does anyone know of a way to mod these mags to make them drop free? Thanks. |

What state do you live in? Regardless of the state, you could always replace the mag bodies with newer ones. Shooters Plus will sell you rebuild kits. Ma. Not 100% certain, but, I think they ban replacement mag bodies. They're afraid you'll convert low cap to high cap |

Checked out Shooters Plus and a few other places. I could find no reference to replacement mag bodies. One forum I went to stated Glock will replace mag bodies but only if it's cracked or otherwise unserviceable. I'm not willing to go that route for the simple reason I live in MA. and I'm not sure I'd get high cap back. Guess I'm stuck with what I've got until I can leave this God forsaken hell hole of a state. Thanks for your help. |
