| Does anyone have any experience with the GlockTriggers Haley Strategic Skimmer Trigger. I am curious about this trigger system and before I were to lay down $160 I though it would be nice to know if it is worth the investment. Any info on this trigger system would be greatly appreciated. I tried doing a search on this subject but nothing came up. |
| I have put them in 6 Glocks. 3 are mine, the others belong to someone else. If you like the Glock trigger, you will like the Skimmer trigger even more. If you don't like the Glock trigger you won't like the Skimmer trigger. For the follow up shots where you are riding the reset, it doesn't make that big of a difference, but it does shorten the first pull and makes it less "stagey". More like one constant pull resistance wise. |
| Doesnt it says on the parts list for the skimmer trigger. Its all stock oem glock parts that are polished. Ive googled it before and got some archived anwsers here and on m4 and the "industry professionals/subjectmatterexperts" say its a waste of money. Alot of people said you could polish your own parts and get a glock 3.5 connecter and polish it for a few bucks. Never tried it so take it for what its worth. |

Figuring out where exactly to drill for that roll pin can get expensive if you don't have a Skimmer trigger to measure and have to keep buying new parts as you wing it. But basically, yes. |

It isn't just a polish job, they also reduce the pre-travel, as someone mentioned.
That being said Glockworx/Zev have a reduced pre-travel trigger and bar for $80 if that is your goal, plus their $15 connector and $3 trigger spring you'll be under $100. You could polish the rest of the stuff on your own. I wouldn't say the Skimmer is a waste, you are paying for someone else to do all the work. That's just business. Personally a lighter connector and upgraded trigger spring have always worked for me and kept me under $20. Is your trigger stock right now? |
| Yes, my trigger is stock. I was actually interested in this trigger system as it uses Glock OEM parts. I also like the benefits of reduced pre-travel as well. For me the fact that it has all OEM parts and reduced pre-travel are the defining factors of why I was interested in this trigger system. This trigger would be going in my personal defense firearm. |

Define "waste of money". Look around your house. People "waste" money all the time. If it is worth it to you, then how is that a waste? You have the funds, it is and does what you describe that you want. It is stupid easy to install. |
