I like the stock 5.5 Gen 3 trigger pull. Some take up and then a definite stop before the break.
The Gen 4 is all take up till the striker release....DO NOT LIKE
So what is the fix, is it just a Gen 3 trigger bar, or is there more to it? |

None of my Gen 4's have done what you describe. They are all take up, wall, break. Same with the last three Gen 4's I have handled, they all had (.) dot connectors in them. Only way my Gen4 got the rolling break/no wall was adding the Ghost 3.5 conncetor. Did you buy it used or is it a G34, 35, or 41? They come with a (-) minus connector. |

Every single Glock trigger is slightly different. Some are nice and crisp while others are mushy or gritty. The Gen4's that I own have what I would describe a 3-stage trigger ; take-up, wall, more take-up, then creepy final stage.
I prefer a crisp 2-stage trigger. On some guns, the only way to give me any kind of crisp-ness was to instal the "+" connector. Replacing the Gen4 trigger bar certainly helps and fixes the trigger on some guns. Other guns need more work. Sometimes you have to start replacing parts, one at a time, until something works. |
