I reached the 4,000 round mark today with my origional Mod 42. So far no malfunctions.
I was able to get a range gun to hicup with some Blazer ammo but only one round out of 200. Still the best shooting 380 I have shot yet. |
| I have one with the redesigned slide stop lever, magazines. I personally didn't have an issue with the first one I bought - AAPD serial prefix - but I shot less than 400 rounds through it. I haven't put any through the new one yet; it's just a jogging gun. My current 42 has a AARW prefix. It is easily the best .380 I have ever shot. |
