Talk me out of buying 1 for me and the Mrs. for carry.  We both have big hands and I already carry a 1911 and I don't want to have to stock another round.

Thanks in advance,

You have no reason to be talked out of one based on your caliber preference.

Sorry

Quit whining you loser and man up!  LMAO, seriously man, you actually came here wanting a voice of reason?  None to be had.  This place costs me a shit ton of money.

I just traded and got a 30SF.  I am going to shoot it today for the first time.  I have a few Glocks, and my favorite is my 19.  My newest addition is like a fat sister to it, and very close in size, and I am thinking that I am going to dig it a bunch.  A 30S is on the short list most likely for me.  Let us know how you like them.

The 30S is at the present time the absolute best 45 acp platform out there today.

Developed at the bequest of the SIS LA Police for that very reason. They needed firepower in a moderately sized
package, and they needed reliability.

I do not disagree with this statement.

And make sure you get a couple of Kriss mag conversion kits...never know when you'll need 30 rounds.

I love mine...nice ten rounder...can use 21 mags for a 13. I put a ghost trigger and night sights on it, it only made it better! I love it for my edc.

I rented one today at the range.  Well  that was a mistake.  I went and bought one shortly there after.  Can't wait to pick it up.   What holsters are you guys running yours with??

I also have large hands, I can never get gloves that fit well. I also like the .45 ACP. I have a 30s and it is one of the best carry guns I have ever had. Do it!!!....<><....:)

My best friend carries one daily and loves it.  I've shot it a lot and like it as well.  I'm not a 45 guy.

If you're stuck on 45acp go for it.  Personally I prefer MORE 9mm with modern HP ammo but that's just me.

Love mine!!!  I don't carry it yet.  I did order an appendix holster from crossbreed but I can't seem to get comfortable with this setup yet.

I agree. Everyone seemed to rave about the crossbreed holster so I bought one and tried to get to like it but never could. I carry my 30s in a small stong side (right side) thumb break belt slide holster and forget that it's there....<><....:)

Carry mine @3:30 In an Alien Gear (leather not cheap vinyl )
Feels comfortable all day

As for the 30S I have about 2000 + rounds through it with 2 FTF  due to it being brand new I guess.
It has been flawless since broken in.

I never thought Glock could out do the G30 until the 30S hit the shelves.  I am having some real issues with my 30S right now, concerning the sights.  I installed Heinie Slant Pros and I am struggling with these.  They worked great on my G27 15  years ago, but my eyes have gotten older...will be switching to Meprolights soon.

While I will not go as far as to say it is the finest .45 platform out there, it is damn close.  This moniker is saved, IMO, for the 1911, G21 and the Sig 220 Carry

I have the XS Big Dot Sights on my 30s and they are PERFECT for the gun and it's intended use. Do yourself a favor and try a set with the largest size front dot and
the tritium on both the front and rear sights. They are GREAT on this gun!!!!....<><....:)

I really like My G30S.  I was a G30G4 guy!!    You wont be disappointed.  My "trophy fiancĂ©-half my age+ sweetheart" shoots it well and really likes it!!! She has a Shield and a G19.  Now I am buying her a G30S with the muddy girl camo finish from Twinstates on the frame. oh boy,  she is draining me in more ways than one!!!!  But I love her!   get one!!!

Great handgun.  Much improved over the standard G30.  I have a nice G30S for sale in the EE section, for anyone that needs one.  Basically new.
