If you are looking for something to use during a competition, try degreasing the area you grip and using a spray-on rosin. I have used a product called "Krylon Easy Tack" for similar applications. It works well for a little while but is temporary and cleans off easily.
If you want to try something a little more permanent, maybe use anti-skid "skateboard tape" cut to fit the area you grab. Again, degrease the area first. This should be semi-permanent but easy enough to remove if you decide you don't like it or you want to restore the gun for re-sale. Beyond that, I guess you could look into having somebody checker the areas where you need more grip. However, that sounds like it could get expensive and is definitely permanent. |
