Really like the G42 for CCW.  So smooth, so reliable now.  A loading ramp buffout was a must for me a while back to make this happen (see pix below).   Mothers q-tips and cotton buff scraps.  G42 owners must:

1. Fluff and buff loading ramp (mirror finish in <1 hour)
2. If using home reloads use lee factory crimp and a 380 Auto Wilson fit gauge to assure range ball load feeding

I used 600 grit sandpaper wet for 10-15 seconds, then 1500 .grit for 30-45 seconds, then hit the ramp with Flitz polish and the dremel with a polishing wheel (the one shaped like a bullet).    Mirror finish in < 4 minutes.
