Congrats! I have a gen 3 (17L) born 6-16-14. It's just a month old this week.  I wish mine was FDE or OD.

This used to be a good way to look it up but it looks like it has gone un-updated for quite awhile.

My gen 4 17 was made in February and it has a "WSR" prefix.   Yours probably just left the factory.

Let her have yours dude, marital bliss and all that.  It's a Glock, they're all pretty much the same.  You give it to her before you claim it as "yours" and that will always be, "The Glock that klkklk bought for himself but gave to me."  Just tell her all you're looking for is a tracking number on your Glock if the FDE is hers.

You know how much goodwill I banked with my teenage daughter by letting her shoot the G-17L first? Tons. As long as you don't end up with no gun on this deal, take care of the ladies in your life.  :)

Did you read the instructions on that website?

You are NOT suppoused to enter the serial # prefix

I did read the instructions.

I don't have a code on my breech, I have my serial number repeated.

I was all excited to use that tool then had crushing disappointment when I realized, "Hey, my guns don't have that!"

I know the 21 is a 91 because I bought it new when they first came out. It has the serial number VHxxx, .45 Glock logo then the polygonal symbol on the side with no other markings on the barrel.

I think the 17 is a '94 from the BBBxxx prefix to the serial.  It has the serial number, Glock logo then the polygon symbol on the side and 9x19 on top where the proof and code shown in the instructions is located.
